New Life Deaf Fellowship (NLDF) is a church designed by the Deaf, for the Deaf. At NLDF, you will see Deaf leading Deaf – Deaf leading prayers, signing songs, teaching the Bible and preaching. God wants the Deaf to know that you are important to him and that he loves you very much. Our mission is to help you learn of God’s great love for you, and then for you to share his love with other Deaf.

God wants each Deaf person to know him, personally, and have a relationship with him. God wants the Deaf to chat with him. We call this “prayer”. God wants the Deaf to “hang out” with his family, the church. We call this “fellowship”. God wants the Deaf to honor him, to respect him, and to offer thanks to him because he is your God, too. We call this “worship”.

At NLDF, all activities (preaching, teaching, singing, prayer, etc.) are conducted in American Sign Language, specifically for the Deaf, with voice interpretation for anyone who does not sign. Bible verses are presented visually by using the ASL Bible or by direct presentation by the pastor or others.

NLDF offers the Deaf the privilege of having your own church – a place where you can participate, where you can be involved and not just watch. At NLDF, you have a pastor with whom you can communicate, directly, face-to-face, without the aid of an interpreter.
